Also, you must see Tristans post today....you'll be glad you did..he ALMOST has me in a festive Christmas mood!..i said ALMOST! lol!

I am posting an earlier digital painting i did....called "Other world"....it looks fairly pink!

Plus a beautiful old tray and little box that Dana gave me years ago.. The beautiful decorated bottle i got from Robins Nest Etsy shop!

YESTERDAYS CLASS!

Yesterday completed our class sessions!...we meet next week to have our workbooks reviewed! wow..not sure what kind of marks i will get! lol! After the New Year, we will start meeting again..to try our wings!.. applying what we have learned into larger pieces....should be great...

But for now...i will show you my feeble attempt yesterday!....She had lovely little rugs ..

lying on our table with a beautiful real fresh pear....one for each of us!... as much as i loved the rug (i wanted to bring it home! )...i found i was getting too tight ...too fiddly with it..trying to draw it..

however, i kept going and you will see here what i got....i like to call it primitive art ..hehe !

Teacher did not reprimand me tho... i will also show you my pear... we did not get to finish the last part, as the rug image had to completely dry... we are to tear up the pear image we painted into several sections..then, glue to the rug image! So, stay tuned...i may show you that too...

when i try it later today! This is all for bigger and better things to come!

three of the seasoned artists have their own show coming up this weekend...i plan to go to the opening tea party...wish i could show you some of their art....using the tools we are learning...

mind boggling! ..but i would need to ask permission....maybe i'll ask...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!

I hope you are with family today and enjoying your Thanksgiving holiday!

We had our Thanksgiving in October here in Canada!...we do same as you....turkey and all the trimmings!

Dana wanted me to join them, but travel just was not in my plan this time.....however, hearing this morning about the menu....i was almost sorry i did not take her offer! lol!

New things happening....

in my neighborhood...that is! Our skyline is about to change...

take a look... They are calling this the Marilyn Monroe building!

there will be two of these....both with unusual curved, twisted shapes..

It is approx 20 stories here....going up to 50 stories, i understand.

A new condominium.. I love seeing the amazing progress..

Busy day here!

Do you ever wake up and wonder what is the most important thing i need to do ? lol!

Well, that was yours truly this morning!

It did not take me long to realize i had better get more things to offer in my new Etsy shop!...

Fridays are usually my take it easy days..since i am out all day on Wed and Thursday..

but no taking it easy today....i have been busy populating Etsy!

so far i am to HERE! ..in case you wanna see!...

I tell ya, its nap time now....lol! it takes time to try and get good photos to post on Etsy..

My point and shoot could do better...but a DSLR does not seem in my future... lol!

I'll show you a neat little buttoned scarf i added today

...i knitted it with big needles..its so cuddly and light...

Another Fun day!

We were to do a landscape today....abstract or otherwise... i'll show you mine...

i was thinking a field of poppies....this was the small 6 x6 size...showing me holding it up! lol!

hard to capture, actually... the sky is blue and white..not showing too well here..

I guess anything is better in person...most times...

I did the larger one too... it is open for interpretation!...lol

I feel i do better working larger...letting the paint flow freely...

We have decided to make this a weekly thing....our first classes are over next week...

so, now, we can work on larger print plates if we want in class...i will love that!

We do pot luck lunch ,as i have said. my contribution today was two of my famous coconut cream pies...our lunches are amazing...especially as we never know what others are bringing! But it works out...
